The second wedding I assisted Annie photograph was Andrea and Andy’s wedding at Holland Lake Lodge. The setting was stunning as was the couple. I was photographing the groom and groomsmen and they had me in stitches the entire time…they were hilarious!
Sweet, sweet couple!
SoulaStyle has been on a bit of a hiatus since the beginning of July! Life got busy and crazy with travel, work, and summer time fun. But, I’m back and I have an awesome fashion shoot with MkLaren lined up for today and, in the next couple weeks, I’ll have an awesome announcement to make!
After this post Julie, the owner of MkLaren, asked if I would come back and photograph their new clothing arrivals. I jumped at the chance to photograph beautiful clothes with an awesome model. Jessica was so much fun and so easy to work with I couldn’t believe my luck! Check out the new fashion finds at MkLaren!
Love this cardigan!
Cute Frye Wedges!
This maxi dress is only $58! Awesome!
This was our favorite outfit of the day!
All these outfits are so cute! Jessica pulled off every one of these looks…I think her doppelganger is Kate Beckinsale…what do you think?
Big thanks to Jessica and Julie at MkLaren! I had a blast doing this shoot and I can’t wait for the next shipment of clothes!
As I said yesterday, some of my favorite items in MkLaren were the jewelery. There were delicate gold necklaces, simple bracelets, and jeweled rings right next to bold feather ear rings, leather bracelets, and pounded metal rings. In true MkLaren fashion, the jewelery was displayed beautifully….
I love this ceramic flower. It would be so cute to hang ear rings and rings on!
A few more items in the store…
Go check out MkLaren—I’m sure you’ll find something you’ll love!
MkLaren boutique is in down town Missoula at 124 N. Higgins Ave. This sophisticated boutique features contemporary clothing, jewelry, shoes, hand bags and accessories. MkLaren was one of the first stores I went into when I first moved to Missoula. I couldn’t believe I could walk from my house to downtown Missoula and buy a pair of Jbrand, AG or Paige jeans. Not to mention all the cute dresses, shoes, and tops to choose from. Every bit of this store is classy and tasteful!
Check out some of my finds…
Love that scarf!
Some of my favorite items in MkLaren was the jewelery…..jewelery and more tomorrow!
Memorial Day weekend was filled with unpredictable moments. The weather was off and on and it was hard to decided what to do…stay inside, go outside, stay inside, go outside…what to do, what to do? So, we did a little of both. Hiked the Jumbo saddle, visited the Lee MetCalf wildlife refuge, and ate at Cafe Dolce.
We also put an offer in on a house. We had to wait all weekend to find out whether or not our offer was accepted. We found out this morning the offer was accepted =) Then, this afternoon after spending an hour putting our contract together, the bank informed us they had made a mistake and decided to accept another offer =( We are sick inside. Life, like the weather in Montana, is unpredictable.
I was so excited about my ham and brie sandwich I forgot to take a picture…oh well, maybe next time! Hoping things will become a little more predictable this week…
Today is sunny and bright! Yay! The grass and the tiny leaf buds are that brilliant, brilliant spring green. So it’s appropriate that I am featuring The GREEN Light today. Sabrina Smith is the owner of this über Earth responsible shop. Every thing in here is either organic, handmade, or ethically produced. There are products for the kitchen, home, bathroom, and for your dressing pleasure.
The Green Light has some of my favorite kitchen cook ware. Le Creuset kitchen ware is something I can only drool over but I know quality when I see quality!
The Green Light has clothing for both Men and Women. Quirky shirts for men and fun shoes for women all throughout the store.
Remember Jelly shoes??
Candice was working the day I photographed The Green Light. While I was there we were talking about interiors and fun do-it-yourself ideas. She showed me the one she did for the store. She found old shutters, cleaned them up, and used them to display greeting cards. What a great idea!
Go check out The Green Light…I’m sure you’ll find something you’ll like….I did!
